Newsweek Attacks the Bible
"The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it." - John 1:5
Truth Remains is at its core a ministry that exists to assert that the Bible is the true, living, and inerrant Word of God. But we also believe that the Bible defends itself. Charles Spurgeon once said, "There is no need for you to defend a lion when he is being attacked. All you need to do is open the gate and let him out." We believe that God uses the bold, unapologetic preaching and exposition of the Bible to establish its truth and authority. At a time when attacks on Scripture are coming not just from the world but from within the church, we are dedicated to exalting the Word as the only trustworthy source of truth. Still, we cannot expect unbelievers to understand and respond properly to the Gospel apart from the illuminating power of the Holy Spirit.
Newsweek has published an article that is an all out assault on the Bible in their first issue of 2015. We are so grateful for a brilliant and reasoned response from our good friend and ministry ally Dr. Albert Mohler.
